Enchanted Words stores only the minimal information necessary for the application to function properly. The data we collect includes:

Nickname (required to join a Group led by a Teacher).

Lesson progress statistics, including accuracy and time spent on lessons (visible to Teachers in Groups).

No additional personal information is collected or stored.

2. Group Participation and Data Visibility

When a user joins a Group, their Nickname is visible to the Teacher only for the duration of their membership in that Group.

Teachers can send lessons and receive statistics on user progress but cannot hear spoken responses. This ensures that communication between users and teachers is not possible.

3. Data Security

We implement best industry-standard practices to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

4. Cloud Storage and Processing

Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides cloud services for storing and processing user data within the allowed scope, which includes user authentication, lesson distribution, and lesson statistics storage.

For EU users, data processing occurs in Ireland.

For US users, data processing occurs in the USA.

5. Data Deletion

Users can delete their data via the Profile section in the app. This is the preferred method for data deletion.

Once deleted, data is permanently unrecoverable.
